The stars either work with you or against you and it all depends on whether you know what their up to or not. This monthly star-powered planner sets up you to take advantage of these powerful forces. July Astrology Summary: Vroom, Vroom – Get ready. Get set. GO!

Overall meaning: The fast-paced energy begins the first week and doesn’t let up for years. The air from Gemini with Venus and Uranus, as well as Aquarius with Pluto, combines with the fiery energy from Leo or Aries with each of the stars, Sun, Mercury, Ceres, Saturn and Neptune, in these fire signs. The Firestarter ignites for an opportunity-filled disruption sandwich.

Personally: Be careful not to burnout or go crazy from all of the distractions. Your mind gets “idea influx” daily and it’s difficult to keep pace. Don’t try. Instead, carve out time to regroup or take a breather. Better yet, take mini-breaks that involve physical activity. Going out in nature is a boon too.

Professionally: The noise level reaches a cacophony and social media becomes a frenzy. It’s best when you have your own platform or stage. Reset your calendar, firm up your schedule, and take time to review your pipeline. Opportunities are so plentiful, you want to be able to act on them when the time is right.

Financially: Volatility is the name of the game for the stock market for the foreseeable future. This doesn’t mean it’s a total downward trend. Traditional and blue chip stocks aren’t going to fare well, but future technologies, scientific companies, and solutions to climate change present excellent investment opportunities. Crypto currency is still a mystery to me when I try to read its energies. It feels blacker than black for a marketplace. If this mysterious feeling is in the flow for you, go for it. If it doesn’t align, then stay away.

Big Star Shift Dates

Big Star Shifts: (in chronological order)

• 7/4 Aries Neptune retrograde (1st in our lifetimes)
• 7/7 Uranus enters Gemini (1st since 1940’s)
• 7/12 Aries Saturn retrograde (1st since mid-1990’s)
• 7/18 – 8/11 Leo Mercury retrograde

Of note: Saturn and Neptune are super cuspy in their upcoming conjunction in Aries on February 20, 2026. That means they’re each close to zero degrees in Aries and they’re practically fused together. Neptune’s ability to dissolve Aries’ fiery impact is significantly lessened by Saturn’s push for responsibility and integrity. However, this push is somewhat muted as Saturn is in detriment in Aries, so isn’t as strong as usual and he’s stationing retrograde on July 12th until November 27th.

Big Star Shift Meanings

Honesty, you’re going to thank your lucky stars there are 3 retrograde planets this month, adding to Pluto, for a total of 4. Anything slowing momentum is welcome due to the g-force movement from the fiery and airy forces from the outer planets.

Neptune retrograde Aries

Details: July 4th- Neptune retrograde in Aries 2° until December 10th Pisces 29°

On July 4^th (and how ironic for the USA?), Neptune stations retrograde until December 10^th and for the next 100 days faces a blast of truth serum. In Aries, cardinal rules have just begun to initiate into the New Era and now the stars are entering a period of shakeup. Is this the beginning or the end?

When Neptune is direct, there’s a shield or lens masking reality. With Neptune’s retrograde position, that lens is removed and in Aries, it’s shocking. The 2025 wakeup call reaches a crescendo that has been coming in stages – the first being on March 31^st when Neptune entered Aries, the 2^nd with Saturn entering Aries on May 24^th and now, this retrograde for the 3^rd and final stage. 

Imagine ignoring or denying reality for over a decade and having to face the truths you’ve been shielding yourself from for so long, they’ve been your truth version. With the guide of better angels, people will take this awakening with maturity to accept reality and take action to course correct if necessary. With lesser or absent angels, people will dial up the fake vortex and stick their heads in the sand for as long as possible.

On October 22^nd, Neptune moves back into Pisces for more delusion and escapism. Anyone willing to be a victim, let falsehoods relieve them from responsibility, or harken back to the old traditional ways, Neptune in Pisces is their biggest enabler.  Even though, the rose-colored glasses are removed, the swim into Pisces is balm to their minds. Relieving any thoughts of responsibility or actions that may make them uncomfortable. 

In fact, Neptune doesn’t reach 2° Aries until March 31, 2026, enabling dishonesty, deception and delusion one final burst until it’s extinguished for another 165 years. The honesty shield just over the horizon makes it intoxicating to fall prey to Pisces misty reign. Be as truthful with yourself as you possibly can. The other stars, Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto, are conspiring to gift you the highest possible opportunity. What’s a little discomfort when you can finally step into your soul-led creation of wealth, magic and joy?

Uranus enters Gemini

Details: Uranus enters Gemini on July 7 @ 7:44 am ET (last time 1941 – 1949 during WWII)

What an exciting mess! Uranus, with his volatile, messy and unapologetic ways, is necessitating change, motion, and momentum for your mind. In Gemini, this is the Vulcan-mind-meld, shaking your thoughts, stirring your ideas, and striving for solutions. The rapid pace may be crazy-making, in the truest sense, for too many. The stars have been setting you up to move your energies from your mind to your hearts, bodies and souls. If you’ve been listening, you have tools, habits and rituals, you can employ to ride the beautiful intelligence-wave for the next 7 years. If not, your mind is going to relentlessly push you to distraction, instability, and irrational spiraling. Uranus simply loves shock-and-awe and Gemini says a fat YES in response, with his ability to handle paradox, impossible ideas, and unprecedented solutions. You think things are moving fast now? You can’t even fathom the leaps and bounds of thought until 2032.

Let’s look at the details of Uranus’ movement for this period:

• Uranus enters Gemini on July 7th
• Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus on November 8th
• Uranus re-enters Gemini to stay on April 26, 2026
• Uranus Dips into Cancer on August 3, 2032
• Uranus stations back into Gemini on December 12, 2032
• Uranus enters Cancer to stay on May 22, 2033

Uranus in Gemini represents new territories. This is the quest for a new frontier. The wakeup aspect of this is the shock to everything traditional, historical or structural.

The last time Uranus in Gemini was 1941 – 1949, during WWII and other times involved the American Civil War and the Revolutionary War. Other times in the world involved the Industrial Revolution, Age of Enlightenment in the 1770’s and the Scientific Revolution in the 1600’s.

Gemini Uranus sends shock waves to create new ways for communications, technology, science, energy, travel, digital connection and remote access. Boundaries will shift, philosophically, culturally and literally.

Things are going to move FAST – think the speed of light (actually G-force). You’re not going to be able to keep up with the changes. The minute something feels familiar, it’s going to be gone and replaced with the next thing that doesn’t feel familiar at all.

This is going to be absolutely maddening for earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn and overwhelming for water signs, Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio. The fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius will handle it better and the air signs, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius actually like this flow. This is nirvana for Geminis, when and only when, they can stay grounded enough to leverage this energy for opportunity creation.

Aries Saturn retrograde

Details: Saturn retrograde on July 12 in 1°Aries until November 27th in 25° Pisces

Saturn retrogrades in Aries for the first time in 30 years. You have to go back to 1996 – 1999 to remember what a Saturn in Aries retrograde felt like for you personally and professionally. For Capricorns, this is particularly striking as Saturn in your Sun’s ruler.

When Saturn tugs the Earth backward, it creates an even greater traffic jam than usual, but this one is internal, not external. You will undergo a period of deep inner work whether you’re aware of it or not. In Aries, you’ll be aware of it. You’ll be shaken at the core, not in massive movements, but in slow, relentless refection.

You won’t be able to stop yourself from asking the hard questions, “What am I doing?” “Am I on the right trajectory?” “Have I made the right choices?” “Why haven’t I done, accomplished, succeeded more in my life?” For some, this will feel like an existential crisis.

Unfortunately, Saturn’s retrograde period lasts for months, but the good news is you’ll become accustomed to these ruminations. The only way you can get yourself wrapped around the axle is if you aren’t honest with yourself.

Yet, there’s reprieve. Saturn reenters Pisces on September 1st, bringing a cavalier attitude toward change. You can choose to kick the can down the road for a few months. This is positive when you’ve been working too hard. This is NOT helpful when you’ve been procrastinating.

Mercury retrograde Leo

Details: July 18 – August 11 Mercury retrograde Leo 15° – 4°

Showing up for yourself and not for the validation from others is the key of this retrograde period. How do you want to be known in the world? What is your true leadership style? Why are you desiring to connect with the world beyond your normal purview? Get creative. Have fun. Be playful. This can be an inspiring time if you don’t take yourself too seriously.

Leo loves to be loved and during these few weeks, you won’t get positive feedback. However, caring, loving, and valuing yourself is the key to this Mercury retrograde. You can have fun with this too, when you lighten up and laugh at yourself. Leo loves to be playful, so take time off, go on a family adventure, or learn a method of creative expression. You won’t be making any forward movement on work anyway, you might as well enjoy yourself.

Exact dates and degrees:

• July 18: Mercury retrograde at Leo 15°
• August 11: Mercury stations direct at Leo 4°
• August 25: Mercury returns to original Leo 15°

If you’re a Leo, this will definitely affect you more directly. For Aries and Sagittarius, let the harmony of adventure and travel be your guide (just be patient with any travel snafus). All other signs, this is a typical Mercury retrograde, the 2nd one this year.

Weekly Wealth Maps

Week 1: June 30 – July 6

The week begins with good news that brings excitement and surprise. You may hear about solutions for supply chain, food stuffs, and helpful logistics as they’re wrangled over by opposing forces. Perhaps, there’s even news on the tariff front. Personally, however, you feel distracted, flirty, and fickle. Those prospects you’re sure would be clients turn away, while others you haven’t liked in the past grow closer. You yearn for easier ways to do everything, while also wanting longer commitments and more serious relationships.

The stars help you resolve inequity in partnership as well as providing good luck with fixed assets, capital expenditures, or long-term investments. Working hard during the day, keeping an eye on the future, and whispering sweet nothing to loved ones is the best way to close the week.

Week 2: July 7 – 13

You’re weirdly introspective and it’s out of alignment with the quick paced energies. With Uranus entering Gemini and the other stars reinforcing this movement, you expect everything to come together immediately and easily. But, it’s not going to work like that. Things feel deep, slightly off, and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this isn’t something you can ride out. You must roll up your sleeves and move through it. Ask yourself difficult questions, “Am I happy?” “What do I truly want to be doing with my time?” “If I were advising a friend, what would I tell them to do right now?”

This week doesn’t feel great, but it’s an excellent one to derive solutions, to recalibrate your work-life balance, and to spend time with people who matter to you. These people can be business associates or personal friends. The connections you foster are the ones that grow.

Reframe, refresh, renew. You’re entering Mercury retrograde zone for the next 3 weeks, so everything (re) works better than the new. People are the subject matter this week. Make a list of clients, alumni, associates and colleagues you’d like to reach out to. Review your pipeline. Take the time to talk to clients to see what’s working and not working for them. You can do the same on the personal side too.

The Moon is incredibly powerful as she moves the tides on earth. Think about that power for a moment. The Moon moves the ocean and since people are 70% water, the Moon moves each person whether you’re aware of it or not. The Moon is also amazingly personal as she represents your heart.

Full Moon: You Matter

Details: July 10 Full Moon @ 4:38 pm ET Sun in Cancer & Moon in Capricorn 18°

You’re a bit melancholy, wondering how your life in years has surpassed the accomplishments you were hoping for by this point. This is an illusion and one you’re not going to be able to intend or wish you way through. The only way through is to be brutally honest with yourself. This isn’t the time for false modesty. You’ve done amazing things and you’re a gift to the universe, so don’t waste time on the ‘woulda-coulda-shoulda’. Give yourself permission to be exactly where you are right now.

Appreciate the ways you choose yourself or if you don’t actually choose yourself, make a commitment to do so from now on. This energy is deep and heart-focused and your mind is NOT happy. If it’s a work week for you, make strides in research or uncovering any hidden agendas to give you a boost in negotiations. If it’s a vacation week, take time to recalibrate your work-life balance. To expend energy, plan a family gathering or host friends and family and talk about the good times.

New Moon: Brave Trust

Details: July 24 New Moon in Leo @ 3:12 pm ET

If you’re brave enough, tremendous healing is available to you. It requires you to be unfailingly honest with yourself and others about who you are at the core of your soul. This is the New Era and your soul wants its audience. Pluto is pulling on both the Sun and the Moon to bring you to your knees, not to subjugate, but to reveal. The stars hold you at the deepest parts of yourself. All you have to do is trust.

Anger and fear come to the surface and that’s natural – you’re human. If you’re patient enough, the anger dissipates and the fear subsides. On the other side of both is trust.

The power of animal and crystal energy are easy to employ to help you create the success and satisfaction you desire. Spirit animals are always willing to assist. I adore flower essences because they represent their mature growth in nature to give you their healing properties without having to leave your home or office.

This is your time to thrive. “Open your root chakra to the thriving energies. Expand your container for giving and receiving.”

Stand in the reciprocity of infinite prosperity flow. There’s a give and take, a giving and receiving – a natural flow that stands beyond time and space. This month is your moment to thrive and prosper. It’s time to step into your birthright of infinite prosperity.

Intuitive tool: Close your eyes, take a deep breath and breathe out everything you’ve been holding onto too tightly. Let yourself receive the growth you’ve been desiring for so long. Imagine your influence increasing with each breath.

Spirit Animal: Bee

Bee represents your commitment to success while enjoying the sweetness of life. You’re thriving, industrious and capable, yet deliver succor to the world. You work well independently, but also as part of a team. Think hive mind and working together for the greater good. Realize how bee can help you if you feel scattered and untethered with all of the fast-moving changes.

Call on bee when you need cooperation from others to complete a task, desire tact and diplomacy, or want to be in service to the world. Bee was the spirit animal of 2020 and this season feeds back to your aspirations of 2020. Bee was also the monthly spirit animal in October 2022 and May 2024. If anything of significance happened for you during these time frames, reach out to bee proactively. Bee is unbelievably reliable and won’t separate from you until you’re ready.

Crystal: Selenite, Hematite & Garnet

The 2025 annual crystals wanted to come into this month’s energy. Reach for selenite, hematite or garnet when you’re falling prey to these fast and fiery energies. Each has their own remedy for you.

Alignment Crystal – Selenite

Selenite links to your higher self, promoting communication with the spiritual realm and deepening your connection with your inner voice. Selenite is a peaceful and calming stone. This stone assists in past life work, scrying and seeing future insight.

Selenite also protects the environmental energy around you, making this crystal a great one when dealing with conflict or difficult conversations. Selenite is super feminine that has a moon energy filled with water, light and loving power. Note: You can’t clear selenite in water as it’ll lose its shape by absorbing lots of water.

Selenite is the annual stone of 2025 and was the monthly stone in November 2024 and April 2020.

Wakeup Crystal – Hematite

Hematite is a magnet, literally and figuratively. This stone soothes and calms, putting a solid foundation under your feet when you feel like you can’t find your footing. Hematite resembles the earth, absorbing negative energy transforming it into wonder and light.
